Intimidated by their back catalogue, especially their more recent albums. However, listened to the Peppermint best of a few moths back and was really really impressed, some brilliant songs on there

That's when they did their best stuff, it's a bit messy after that. Reminds me of another band now that I think of it... lol.

Yes but I have to say I prefer Revelations and Pish over it. Although it will definitely grow on me.

I think I'm the only person that really liked who killed sgt.pepper but everything after that has been good and 'revelations' is one of their best albums. Will listen to the new album this weekend.

I'm late for the party, but better too late than never. I've heard of their name before, but never cared to listen to any of their songs. My other half said to me today "I have albums of the band you might gonna like. It's a kind of music you love" and have let me to listen to them and he was right. I'm loving what I heard by them so far. This is one of those little things makes me happy. Good music will never die! This is nothing, but brilliant! Lennon2217, why didn't you tell me about them?!

One thing I find really uninteresting about the BJM are the subjective 'Illuminati' undertones and the obscurity... - all the Charly Manson crap.
Whereas I think Oasis had a good influence on people, I think the BJM could really dull one's views, if all these undertones are taken too seriously.
I like the music of Newcombe. But it's always a little bit about the philosophy.

I'm really getting into them now. Shame that I missed them when they played in Amsterdam last year. Currently listening to this album.
