Liam hasn't sounded this good since early 2000's I slated DGSS at first and I'll still say the best oasis stuff is a lot better than anything on the album but beady eye have grown on me, the roller, beat goes on, three ring circus and kill for a dream are all better than any previously release LAG stuff and SOTS is a great cover. Wigwam + Four letter word are both up there with the best oasis songs Liams voice has improved dramatically, Noel seemed more interested in his acoustic solo (+ gem) shows, LAG are all writting better songs than half the rubbish they put on the last two oasis albums, Liams saying Noel kept all the best for his solo stuff and Noels saying Liam couldn't be bothered recording any songs for DOYS. Liam couldn't be bothered doing sound checks. The roller has been around for ages and could have easily replaced TNOR or SO. Weren't Noel or Liam bothered about oasis do they not have any respect for the fans who pay a fortune for tickets and albums etc etc??

Well people do seem to make up their mind asap which is a bit weird. Give it a few weeks or a lot more plays before deciding if you really do hate it (or love it).
I'm really liking DGSS, I keep reading the word 'fresh' about BDI which is true. I reckon album #2 will come out pretty soon (not a 3 or 4 year gap) so i think its great. Got a chance to see this band play, more songs to listen to. Liams voice sounding great. Its all good.

Why is someone recording the first song?! What's the point in being there?

Yeah, it's really weird how bad his voice was around 2008 and how much better it is now. I think we know many reasons for that - the songs fit his voice better, he had some rest (the Oasis world tours were way too long) and he cares more about BDI than he did about late Oasis.

Well amongst other things, I don't think Liam could hear himself properly in Oasis... he always seemed to be shouting at the sound guy...so maybe a proper sound man? Like he said he was always shouting over the music, do that enough you get kermit. on a completely different note....how great at the fans in Glasgow?? If I could be born some where else it would be Scotland, what a enthusiastic bunch!!

To suggest that the lads didn't care about the fans is misguided, in my opinion. Also, to insinuate that Liam sounds poor in 2008, but good now because he cares more now is also misguided. Liam's fluctuating vocal performances this decade are still a mystery to me, but to claim he was poor by Oasis' end because he no longer cared is wrong.
The only thing that I will criticize Oasis (and mainly Noel) regarding the treatment of the fans is the way they broke up. It was very petulant. Do the gig, finish the remaining 3 concerts, and then call it a day. But to leave fans hanging like that is just poor fashion, and it's exactly how the media wanted Oasis to end. Oasis owed it to their fans to break up professionally. Instead, we had two guitars thrown out of the pram, if you will.
