You almost want to say four letter word, but that song isnt really indicative of the album. I think you have to go with the beat goes on.. that is the song that seperates them from Oasis and represents the album best id say.

Bring The Light, because despite being a clear musical highlight everyone's merely disappointed that it doesn't sound more like Kill For A Dream.

The Roller......
Typical upbeat tune that shows the spirit of the band and I think the acoustic and piano based rhythm backed up with lead guitar is a good indication to others of how the album sounds.
Makes sense this was the first single, now that I think about it.

None of 'em do.
This is a good thing.
But if I had to play one track to someone, I'd play Four Letter Word, no question. Rips my fucking head off, every time...

for me, it's gotta be 3 ring circus...
4 letter word sounds exactly like Oasis. nothing wrong with that tho...

I agree with Thuperthonic, none of them define BDI.
Also, how can you possibly say TBGO separates BDI from Oasis? That's one of the most Oasis-like tracks on the album! Granted, I don't think it would have made an Oasis album - it could use more development. But it's very much the Oasis vibe, and is like a dumbed down version of RM......

I don't think they have a very defined sound. I think they are still finding themselves to a certain extent. Figuring out what they want to sound like.
I remember reading in one of those "best albums in history book" and it saying something about the fact that Oasis were unique in that they hit the ground running, springing forth onto the rock 'n roll landscape full formed and ready to go...whereas most bands seem to take a couple albums to hit their stride and fully find their sound. I kind of liked that idea and agreed with it.
BDI don't have that. But that makes sense since they took only a few months working together on this new band before recording.
Be interesting to hear what they come up with for the next album.
My favorite song to throw on is FLW...but I think that is just because it is very much an Oasis-sounding song...I don't think it really has a lot to do with the rest of the album...
