Have you seen who's on the bill this year?  Despite a handful of great acts its been swarmed with shite! Ive been to V fest 7 years going and last year I was very tempted to not go when they announced acts such as 'Peter Andre' etc to the bill but this year is a joke and there is no way i'm paying money for that drizzle. At this rate you'll have Justin (e) Bieber headlining next year!! Rhianna?? N Dubz? Tinie Tempah? The Script? Scouting For girls? Bruno Mars? Olly Murs?? Come off it, this aint a saturday morning kids concert! Anyway, just wanted to rant. Do your worst! ;-) |

It's probably one of the worst major festival line-ups this year, on any continent. Around five good bands surrounded by mounds of shit.

it's not that bad a line up. Far better than Glastonbury. V is just showing a broad range of artists.

Better then Glastonbury? Glasto barely has twenty bands announced and it's already better. I'm willing to bet at least half of those aforementioned bands will be at Glasto too.

Glastonbury is awful. 15 years ago definitley worth going to. Today it's full of corporate idiots who probably go to watch the tennis at Wimbledon. Even the line up at Glastonbury in recent years has been poor. At least the V has proper fans and for the majority established artists.
I will be at V this year.
Will be my 8th time.

You would see stark difference in line up. Polar opposite! V is cool, it's safe and easy. No means the history of Glasto. But it's serves a point. Glasto to me is attended today by pricks. I've been going to festivals/concerts mate for over 20 years. I've seen a lot. Each to their own as they say. |

You realise the whole point of V is that it's a pop music festival right? Might as well slag off bananas for being yellow.
Anyway, pretty sure Rihanna will be a better headliner than any of the more "credible" festivals will offer.
