From the website:
Beady Eye recently met up with journalist John Robb for an in-depth chat about their debut album 'Different Gear, Still Speeding', which was released on Monday. The 17 minute interview, which was filmed at London's Gore hotel, is featured on a CD being given away free with this Sunday's News Of The World.
Included on the CD, along with the interview, will also be the music video for 'Sons Of The Stage' as well as five tracks by the band including 'Bring The Light', 'Four Letter Word', 'The Roller', 'Sons Of The Stage' and 'World Outside My Room'.
The paper also comes with a new men's magazine titled 'Jam' which News of The World are launching this weekend. The magazine includes an interview with Liam and features photographs of the band taken by iconic British photographer David Bailey.
Btw, this John Robb is the guy I mentionned in the other thread that said Noel's solo album is set for release late summer/early fall. It seems like he knows the band.

John Robb's band used to rehearse in the room next to Oasis at the Boardwalk when they were starting out. He's well-known on the Manchester music scene and is the slightly bonkers guy who presented the With Oasis documentary back in 1994.

Not a bad interview but would have preferred more on Beady Eye, but there is a lot on Oasis and Noel.
On Beady Eye says the band is a democracy again, and in Liam's words are not a coalition and are not a band for the f**kin Nick Cleggs and David Camerons.
Says that he will be the one more likely to pick up the phone to Noel as he is the "bigger man" but does not miss him yet, but their mum always tells him that Noel was asking after him but he doesn't believe it.
A lot of the same stuff as other interviews, talk of songwriting, aims for the band etc
Says that is Oasis are the biggest band he was in then so be it, but it won't be for lack of trying or passion.
Andy Bell says that he never got the Beatles and Oasis thing as he always heard the Sex Pistols, Slade, Solo Lennon in Oasis and that Beady Eye sound more like The Beatles.
Liam says he loves Noel and doesn't want him to produce a shit album, and if he does he will be hearing from Liam about it.

Isn't the News of the World a tabloid? Why would Liam do an interview with 'em?

Work in the industry, magazines are printed way in advance and we always get the Sunday ones on a Friday. When it came in the guy who gets them started waving it at me, going look what I got, and then after a bit of banter gave it to me.
