Looks like DGSS will suffer the same as Stop The Clocks did. In 2 HMV's in my closest town centre DGSS was outselling all the other albums by a long way according to the workers.
STC only lost out on No.1 because gayboys and 40 year old women were buying Westlife's best of from ASDA and Morrisons.
Looks like this Jessie J bitch is going to outsell Beady Eye in other areas. Just shows you the state of the music industry today. Say what you want about how the charts don't matter but there was something uplifting about seeing Oasis go straight to number 1 knocking shite like Jay Z off.
I still think it will be No.2 though.

On Amazon.co.uk Beady Eye is number 1. Looks like theyre being a bit 'sneaky' as on Amazon the mp3 download is only £3.99, far cheaper than other albums and cheaper than itunes.
Havent checked out other sites but nice to see it in the top spot on Amazon. Play247 has it pretty high up, HMV its number 2
But yeah because of that Jessie J and the idiots who buy that i can see BDI going to #2. Still be a success though, hope they announce more dates soon. Once the albums out there should be more people wanting to go to gigs, reckon there'll be more

Jessie J's got two different versions at number 2 and number 3 with BDI at 4 in the itunes chart. Don't forget, all the real fans will have bought numerous proper versions rather than the MP3s off itunes. That's why Man of Misery hasn't surfaced yet!!

Bought the cd/DVD set today, was disappointed because they didn't have it on vinyl in my local hmv! don't really wanna buy the vinyl online now as it wont be the same as opening them all up on release date, very poor if you ask me, they've probably lost at least one sale towards the number 1 spot

yup, obviously me being american, i have no fucking clue who this jessie j person is but im guessing it's a UK version of Katy Perry/Rihanna/Lady Gaga, or some shit like that. it's a shame because from what i read somewhere, she moved up the release date of her album. so originally BDI wouldn't have had any real competition but what can you do, shit like this happens.

i have no fucking clue who this jessie j person is but im guessing it's a UK version of Katy Perry/Rihanna/Lady Gaga, or some shit like that. Exactly this. She won the BBC's "Sound of 2011" poll which is basically just an award to tell us all that Radio 1 will be playing her records non stop from now on (a bit like Ellie Goulding last year). She's done a song with that Bob who did that Airplanes tune with the fit one from Paramore. As you can imagine - it's wank. I think it's called something like "It's not about the money". If that's the case, all her fans should download it illegally so she fucks off.

You see, the people who buy cds from amazon, pre-order it so they can have it in the mail the day it comes out. after that, there's not a lot of people who'll be purchasing the album.

Went to asda local to me this morning to pick it up but they only had the normal cd...the bastards!!!! Gutted...really wanted to get it in hand tonight....missed out on release day joy Where's cheapest online to get the special cd/dvd version?..... P.s the simpleton serving in asda said that it had been selling well and they had it number 1 in there release charts ;D 2 girls were fiddling with the Jessie J cd next to it whilst I was looking at the beady eye stand so I had to have a cheeky dig..."What you buying that Katy Perry/Rihanna wannabe, Brit trying to be American rubbish for?"....and they laughed put It back and wondered off ;D

Speaking of Jessie J. Today's metro gave her album 3 out of 5 stars, whilst DGSS only got 2! Mental.

Same old story m8......over hyped commercial rubbish, will she be around in 5 years? will she fuck....thing is how come people don't see through it?, It's not like there ain't similar artists out at the mo....aforementioned + Kesha, Gaga.yet still people lap it up, Maybe I'm getting old and out of touch......but some stupid bint singing "Do it like a brother, do it like a dude, grab my crotch wear my hat low like you" In a mock American accent ain't fucking music. Still we have Beady eye, Arcade Fire, The Strokes (can't wait for that album) and so forth keeping real music alive. Now could you please go out and tell all your friends over there in the good ole' USA to buy this fucking album!!!!!!!!! ;D

I know i started the thread by slagging her off. I actually just took the time to listen to that price tag one. I dont listen to this sort of music at all but it instantly reminded me of a Black Eyed Peas song (Something about Where is the love?).
Funny how you go on The Roller youtube page and there's shit loads of people making references to Instant Karma (The Roller being a Rock n Roll song, last of a dying breed) then there's nothing on her song apart from how great it is. Another sign of a sad sad world.

It'll go #1 in the US and the UK... trust me I'll be surprised if it reaches the top 40 here in the US, unfortunately. Pretty much no one in America even knows that Beady Eye exist. I'll be buying it though.
