OK so far we've heard FLW, The Roller, Millionaire, Three-Ring Circus, The Beat Goes On & Sons Of The Stage live.
Which versions do you prefer, for me all the songs sound better live except Four Letter Word.
It sounded far too identical to the studio version, there was no extension on the song and no improvisation on the solo. Hope that changes live.
Also judging from the Radio 1 clips it seems like Andy really wants to go for it on the solo's mixing it up a bit where as Gem is just going to stick to it.

The live versions just need the raw emotion and passion/aggression. It sounds a bit flat at times. If Liam can add that, and not sound like Kermit, we're in for some amazing vocal performances. Regardless, he sounds good live too now, just a bit too identical with the album versions though.
3RC guitar solo is even better live though! I'm really loving that song.

Yeah I loved 3RC. The solo sounded really cool, I'm hoping from something special from Bring The Light too.

They're sounding top live. I like Millionaire and The Beat Goes On a lot more after hearing them live.

They definitely sound better live. I might only listen to the live versions once I have 'em all (bar Wigwam ffs).

Think Millionaire and The Roller sound much better live.
Wasn't impressed with Four Letter Word live, although I love the studio version so that might be why.

All the instrumentals sound better live! I wish TBGO were recorded with that guitar riffs instead of that weird bass

The Roller, Beat Goes On and Sons Of The Stage are all better live IMO. I'd like to hear Millionaire done acoustic but it was still pretty good live but not as good as original.

Better Live: Millionaire, Three Ring Circus
Better on record: The Roller, Four Letter Word (seriously lacking bite), Sons of the Stage
Undecided: The Beat Goes On

I'm just so impressed with the live versions we've heard so far. No Kermit voice from Liam, the band look great, be interesting to see what happens once the tour starts and his voice has done a fair few gigs.

The beauty of this tour is that they are playing small venues and doing little bursts of gigs with large breaks inbetween rather than constant touring.

Where/when was FLW done live? I've heard all the others via the KEXP and Radio 1 sessions - have I missed this?

Where/when was FLW done live? I've heard all the others via the KEXP and Radio 1 sessions - have I missed this? It was also part of the Radio 1 sessions. But they didn't air it together with the Roller and Sons of the Stage, they only aired it the day after..
