Its a massive tune, one of my favourites on the album. Its a riot of a song and as they more or less recorded it live it should be good in a live setting aswell.

It's a great song, first time I heard it I just thought 'YES!'

Actually I've heard numerous critical reviews of it. This board is the only place where I've heard positive reviews, and even then they're mixed at best.
Personally I really dislike it. Its a lazy song. The lyrics are awful, the melody is heavily influenced (bordering on stolen) from Jerry Lee Lewis and the like, and its too long and repetitive to work as a "fun song." Perhaps if it was speeded up it would work, but as it stands I think Bring The Light and Beatles and Stones are the only blips on the album.
They aren't the only songs I dislike on the album, but at least those songs are well thought out and fit well, even if the end product doesn't quite work.

Agree with the OP. Most people on here didn't like it because it 'wasn't oasis.' From the second I heard the opening line I absolutely loved it, drove through town in the car today, turned it up when bring the light come on. It's the bollox. The abbey road verson we ge on monday will be mega aswell, it's gonna be in a different league live.

You must really hate this album if you're gonna complain about "stolen melodies" and bad lyrics
