Do you know something, you are right most(i didnt said all notice this ;D ) people in south america buy ilegal things but what the goverments do??? Nothing they dont take actions to kill this monster called piracy and it bothers me because i have been narrowed to see in the last "decent" music store watch how disney music has replaced the music i could buy from it , what should i do buy an import that will cost me 3 times the price of the record or listen to a page like grooveshark, last.fm, etc.? Where i listen to them, yes without paying a single dime but however i dont commit a crime(yes piracy is a crime even if the south americans goverments does not cares about it). I want to pay for the records, but surprise surprise i cant buy them. There rant over i wont talk about this shit anymore

I'm sorry, but in this day and age, giving preferential treatment to different countries is not only wrong, but it also encourages piracy. Why the hell should I fork over extra cash to get b-sides that come on the Japanese release but not the US release? I'm all for supporting the band, but this nonsense has got to stop.

It's actually the other way around tho isn't it? Here we get our CDs for $10. There local versions of CDs are more expensive that actually importing foreign versions. Due to Sales tax. So, they have to add extra tracks to make it worthwhile. Your Japanese lad is getting ripped off.

Think it's about £17 in Japan. As someone has said above it's because of the tax, so they have to add more tracks/include merch and son and so forth.
