Just saw this Pretty Green interview with Andy on YouTube. Nice to hear Andy talk! But besides from that: High Horse lady is like a total rip off from Tommy Tucker- Hi Heel Sneakers! I think this must be one of the most obvious rip offs in music history

We've known that since DOYS came out, you know. It's probably based on some old blues song, though, traditionnal, so a ripp off too. The only problem with High Horse Lady is that they didnt mention that in the credits

Paul Weller featuring Noel have covered High Heeld Sneekers live.
It is a blatant rip off though yeah.

Is only me who likes HHL?? It is not a great song, but is good to me and on headphones it sounds nice.
Through the years many artists ripped this song off.
Still has many others.

I love High Horse Lady. One of my fav Oasis moments ever is when the bass drops in.

High Horse Lady has got to be one of the worse songs ever put to record. I was always quick to defend Oasis before that. DOYS was way too over-rated by fans. Like Gas Panic. Abortions.

I actually like HHL. That's probably because I listen to the unmixed version. Noel's vocal and the instruments just sound much better on that version. You can really hear what Noel was hearing when he made that song. And you can hear why he let it on.
I really really like the unmixed version. Everything is just cleaner on that one.

More like High Hoarse Lady, Noel's worst song in a long time. Vocals just don't inspire, with the being lyrics and placid and weak. It's traditional, well established 12-bar blues. And that's it, and with a genre and rhythmical technique being repeatedly used by thousands of artists, over the course of a decade and half since about 1860 if not much before, it's bound to bear a similarity to a MULTITUDE of songs.
That's how music works. No chord pattern, no scale, no word in a lyric is ever being used originally, because every note and technique for guitar has been done and every lyric for every song is bound to have words and phrases known and established well before it. The case in point being - Noel wasn't reinventing the wheel. He's done a shit load better, original and unique in his Noelesque way. This I think was a "Piss off" song, towards who knows what. Liam? Record Company? Just getting tired and bored after 18 years? I dunno. But he's got much better before, and I hope he's got much better coming.

You could say that it was at liam for his lack of commitment to the band(at the recordings). I like it in the middle of the album but however it would work better with more or less lyircs. Atleast he did something to work the path from Im outta time to Falling Down and it might be lyrically the worst thing ever wrote by noel but when you hear it with a good set of headphones its cool

It's better than it should be. I don't go out of my way to listen to it, but I do like it enough. I like Noel's vocals, and especially when the bass kicks in.

He didn't put it on the album to piss people off ffs. He can't be that daft.
Besides, it's got a good groove, guys. I also dig the version from the Dig Out Your Soul In The Streets doc.
