I ALWAYS thought CHRIS MARTIN was a bit of a wimp — but it seems I got it wrong.
The mild-mannered COLDPLAY frontman has bravely got his own back on OASIS hardman LIAM GALLAGHER for branding him a “nobhead student”.
Liam took a swipe at Chris and girlfriend GWYNETH PALTROW in a foul-mouthed rant at a charity gig last month — as exclusively revealed by Bizarre, above.
Chris, who is an avid reader of this column, retaliated at Coldplay’s Earls Court gig on Thursday night by changing the lyrics to their song, Everything’s Not Lost, to poke fun at Liam’s bushy monobrow.
He sang: “And if you don’t like our songs, Here’s my advice to you, Try shaving between your eyebrows, Hoping everything’s not lost.”<br>The pair are now embroiled in a full-blown slanging match.
At the Teenage Cancer Trust gig last month, Liam said: “Chris shouldn’t be using this cause to bang on about his f*****g views. Him and his gawky bird are just a bunch of nobhead students.”<br>A pal of Chris’ said the star was upset by Liam’s rant and had been plotting his revenge.
The pal said: “Chris sometimes changes lyrics to make statements on stage — and took his chance to have a dig at Liam.”<br>
