It's rehearsal so they might still be figuring different way to do the tunes justice. If he can do it better acoustic hopefully they'll decide to do it that way. He because we heard then rehearsing it one way for a second and a half doesn't mean that's the end of it.
I hope Liam has gotten over his acoustic aversion.

Reckon they will do more than one song? Obviously I don't know anything for sure, but KEXP's in-studios usually consist of at least three songs.

Wow, this is a really big surprise. I currently live in Seattle, and KEXP is NOT the type of station to play anything Oasis/Beady Eye related. They focus on local indie bands, local hip hop, and mainstream indie that used to be local (aka Death Cab, Band of Horses, etc). Their in-studio sessions are always outstanding. Awesome surprise. I couldn't agree more. I have been listening to the live stream for the past 2 hours and they have been playing nothing but Indie. I hope they have the sonic capability to adequately broadcast a proper rock n' roll band, otherwise Beady Eye are going to blast the room off of that place.

Their debut album is fantastic. Anything heavier on that than the song playing now? Not too much that's heavier--it's your basic low-fi, surf garage-rock. But songs like "Youth" and "Vacation" are absolutely professional. Saw them live and they had some of the most energy I'd ever seen a band play with. That song that was playing on KEXP was new, I think, and was kind of disappointing. I hope they have the sonic capability to adequately broadcast a proper rock n' roll band, otherwise Beady Eye are going to blast the room off of that place. Well it was recorded in London so I'm sure things will sound fine. But yeah, KEXP is the trendy independent music station here in Seattle. You're a nobody in the music scene if you don't listen to KEXP. We flip it on, and we never know what we'll get--just that it's always going to be local or indie. Whether that's jazz, rock, hip hop, etc. is the question. For Beady Eye to grab a slot is going to make a lot of people here in Seattle go 'WTF', it's quite strange. And I can't stress enough on the 'really strange' part.
