He really nailed the drumming in the album!
There's many bits in the songs that make you go "wow, great drumming!" Beatles and Stones, Three Ring Circus, the end of The Morning Son, and the break in Wigwam immediately spring to mind, but there are many more.
Do you agree?

Yep, withouth the drumming Wigwam and The Morning Son wouldn't have been as good as they are now. As much people already pointed out on this forum, Liam's songwriting is pretty basic, but I don't mind because the production and drumming is so amazing.
Let's face it, TMS withouth the orgasmic drumming ending and the guitar break in the middle would've been quite boring (Soldier On, anyone?). But fortunately the production and drumming are amazing, so the song as a whole is one of the best closers imaginable!

Check out Chris Sharrock's nephew, Jim, in his band The Red Suns. They're an upcoming band from Liverpool. He's a drummer also... The band's facebook page: www.facebook.com/redsunsmusic

Whitey followed by Sharrock as my 2 favorite Oasis/BDI drummers.

Chris has the best from Alan, the best from Zak and a bit of his own style on the drumming. Which make him the best drummer Oasis ever had! In my opinion. I really like that he have his own show behind the drums too! When he throws the drumsticks and all that.

Its difficult to judge as I think you tend not to notice a good drummer as much, where as a bad drummer will stand out more (for the wrong reasons).
I really liked Zak Starkey on the DBTT tour - I thought he brought another dimension to some of the older songs. Having said that, I wasn't too impressed with him on DOYS.
As mentioned, Sharrock's drumming on the Morning Son and Wigwam is excellent. He's a very good all round drummer and he suits Beady Eye very well.
Still think Alan White was the best Oasis drummer though.

Great drummer. I found Starkey to be too heavy for the Oasis sound.
Whitey no.1 thought, Sharrock 2nd.
and why are the band doing interviews without Chris?

he's definatley a BDI drummer.
I do not include him in oasis
he's just a BDI drummer to me. Not really a Oasis member
But yes, his drummer on DGSS is very good

Chris was perfect in Oasis. He had the abillity to play with full power on the heavy and fast songs like rock 'n' roll star, the shock of the lightning, etc and slow his hands down on the slower ones like i'm outta time and the masterplan. Zak wasn't able to do that.
