At least Oasis never went down the road of re-releasing an album 6 months later with an additional 6 tracks. Now that is dirty tricks.

Do many bands do that? One thing I respected about Oasis is that Noel said he would never have a best of collection that has like one or two new songs on it, thus forcing the die-hards to buy the whole album for two songs (he said this before digital downloading was mainstream)
