Wow, I must have worked and still know a good number of people working in R E A L "old fashioned" record stores, as none of us can recall
EVER
getting copies of ANY LP damn near a full month prior to release.
Do you realize what kind of room a larger store (nevermind a typical record store) would need to allot space for stock not even up for sale for a month?
This of course in ADDITION to existing "for sale" product.
You can be assured that if such discs exisited the LP would be all over the WWW within minutes.

This story by shakermaker is pure bullshit...I have a friend of mine that works for a recordstore and he told me that the cd-lp-dvd arrives in store just the friday before the official release if the disc is out on monday as DGSS will be.

It was fun but it gets our hopes high. "they send a couple of albums" for storage? WTF?
Beady Eye Management: "Look mate, we're going to send 3 copies here, 2 here, and 2 here so they can have them for storage. We'll send the rest later but we'll give them these just in case fans around the world are waiting for a leak"

I love that show...just finished watching it on YouTube actually. SEX ROBOT! Same here, I found out about him a couple of months ago.. I didn't care much for talk shows before but Craigy Ferg is awesome! Love the fact that he's goofy, careless and quite intelligent if he wants to be (check out his Desmond Tutu interview or my personal favorite with Stephen Fry: /watch?v=d-R9gqHom4g) How awesome would it be if Beady Eye performed on his show?  owenmorris.. Could be, I mean it is kind of hard to swallow if you think about it but I'm choosing to believe any positive story at the moment tbh. Can't wait for the album |

I have a friend who has a friend that knows a friend that sees a friend now and again. His friend knows a friend and you'll never guess what? Not only does he work in a recordstore, he owns one! (it would be inappropriate to name the store though.

Dutchie here, have been checking the large retailers and small stores in Utrecht and Amsterdam. None of them had it, most of them couldn't even tell me when they would receive the album.

He is great. Watched both of those a few times. I wish he would do more audienceless episodes like he did with Stephen Fry.
