Yeah, thinking the same thing. Makes me wonder why they didn't released it as a free download earlier if they didn't care about chart positions like they said...
I know this download is directed mainly at US fans but still...

I understand links being removed when it's official, but if offered for free why have they been removed? I don't need the link as I paid for it via itunes last week, but something offered for free being removed is going a bit too protective isn't it (considering it's in the newsroom heading)
If it is a dodgy link (as in the place offering) then there should be an explanation why and the the header from the newsroom removed.
A bit of consistency would help the forum with the "no official links" (which in itself I agree with)

lol i really don't understand what's going on but who cares.... nothing that the basic use of google wont solve. like someone else said, this is obviously aimed @ the american fans and boy am i glad they're doing it because i couldn't buy the damn thing even though i wanted to. wasn't available on amazon nor on itunes so whatever.

Haven't really been following this as I have a decent version of the songs already, and will just wait for the album for the better quality versions. However, just speculating, do you think someone somewhere messed up, and the free download was a mistake? It just doesn't make much sense...?

i think that maybe they(dangirbird records) are treating this song(the roller) as a teaser/promo single for the states. Kind of like what the band did with Bring The Light in the UK. i really don't know if that makes a whole lot of sense or not but that's my best guess.
now it could also be some type of major f*ckup.... lol think about it this way... Dangirbird Records calls up the people from this site and tells them, you can put up one of the songs off the record for people to download it from your website. they go "make it track #3, thinking that's "Beatles and Stones" and since it's already made its way to youtube and it's not really available anywhere for anyone to buy it. then it turns out track #3 is The ROller, track #4 is Beatles and Stones. nah... i clearly don't know what the f*ck im talking about =P
