One of the DJ's on CD101, a great alternative station here in Columbus, Ohio, interviewed Liam and Gem today. It airs tomorrow around 1 and you can stream the station live at www.cd101.comJust wanted to pass it along! Also, they are adding The Roller to their playlist as of today. I'd like to think that my dozens of requests have something to do with that...

Yeah, CD101 loves Oasis. You'll hear everything from Cigs & Alcohol to TSOTL on a given day. Great, great alternative station. I got to do a guest DJ spot a few years back because my setlist was the "Noel Gallagher-approved setlist." One of the DJs there is a HUGE Oasis fan, and she said picking me was a no-brainer

I hope they come to Columbus!!! I live 2 1/2hrs away and that is a lot easier/closer to get to then DC... They should play Newport Music Hall! I seen Les Claypool at that venue.

I seen Les Claypool at that venue. the Newport's a great venue. i've seen some great bands there like the Flaming Lips and Joe Strummer. i seriously doubt they even play in Ohio though.

Liam said they will literally play every song Beady Eye has.
Said none of the songs have "been rejected by the little fella" from Oasis. hehehe.
Said Beady Eye is the best band in the world. That's the way they approach it. "If you think you're going to be mediocre, go be a postman."

"We're not Jack White. We're not going to start jumping about and doing other things next week."
Why not do a solo album? "Because I don't want to. I'm in a band."
Gem on if it's a democracy: "It's a damn fine collective. That's how we see it. It's a four-headed democracy."
Interviewer singles out "Kill for a Dream." Liam said not to get too carried away thinking it's about Noel because it was written before band broke up. Gem points out that some songs are prophetic.
Liam said he came up with name for album while on the toilet in the pub. "Things have changed, but it's for the best. We're still into it. The goals are still the same. We want to be the best band in the world again and we want to do it."
Said the charts don't matter to him. "We just want people to buy it and enjoy it. It's already a success because we made it and we're talking to you about it."

Ah! Did they have to put it next to Morning Glory!? I like the roller, but c'mon!
Anyway, great interview. Gem really leads the group interviews, with Liam chipping in from time to time...
