Since you are unable to read, I will repeat my post. A typical over-reaction from Noel.In terms of the hissy-fits; in terms of the bullying towards other band members; in terms of his arrogance; in terms of his manipulation of other band members; and in terms of his departure, it was just one extended over-reaction from Sir Noel. When I read his statement that he could not take it a second longer, I laughed into my cornflakes. Yes, you always were the troll on here, weren't you? |

From what I remember reading, Liam actually threw the guitar at Noel and Noel stamped on it. From what I can see there IS a neck break on Liam's (the headstock is a bigger angle to my eyes than the customary 14 degree Gibson angle [at least I thing it's 14 degrees]) Noel's might not be too bad but he'd have to put a brand new neck on it Might be. Its really hard to tell, but I know what u mean. The angle does look a bit bigger, but again its really hard to tell. edit: nevermind you're right. I just rotated the pic, the head stock is def. broken. But again, at least it can be fixed, just like Noel's can. here it is in rotated view: img834.imageshack.us/i/liamgtrcompresize.jpg/you can clearly see that the headstock is bent/broken. |

It's so sad seeing Noel's ES-335 broken... That was an amazing guitar, my favourite.
I'm not taking sides but if my sister'd made that to my guitar (especially if my guitar is es-335) I would her.

In the heat of the moment, I can understand the reactions of both parties - especially since the guitar(s) were seemingly very meaningful. However, if the row truly is only about the guitars, it's a bit pathetic that neither have gotten over the material goods by now!
With that said, it's still very sad seeing those pictures. It kind of cements the end and puts a bit of closure on it for us fans. Sad indeed.

I'm not taking sides but if my sister'd made that to my guitar (especially if my guitar is es-335) I would her. It was probably his Gibson 355 not the 335 if that helps... |

I had been hoping it wasn't the 355 all along ever since I heard about the tweet from that woman backstage about Liam breaking Noel's guitar. Just thought I'd mention it in case he had a special appreciation of Noels ES 335 because he obviously owns one too. I still feel sad that it was the 355...but hopefully kimallenbewick feel a bit better if they liked the 335 more. |

He said during the tour that it was giving him problems so this gives him a chance to sort it out. If I was him (and with his money) I'd get a brand new ebony custom shop neck done to the profile he prefers (judging by his Union Jack Sheraton which I was very lucky to see last week, he prefers a nice thick neck but not massive [bit of random info for the guitar fans there  ]. This would cost about $1000 from Gibson). The 355 has original PAF pickups as far as I remember so I'd definitely be hunting down a nice pair of them too. He'll probably have to get a refinish as well. All in all, I think there's a good chance that we'll see it in action again. On the (very) off chance that Noel is reading this, the fact that you use a bigsby so much probably had a lot to do with your initial tuning problems  |
