A short and rather pointless phone interview with Liam and Gem... The host is really annoying, almost bragging about how he's not a big fan of the boys. Still, Liam and Gem are always fun to listen to, even though they seem kind of tired here. Liam says they'll prob. do some smaller gigs in NY around June, so... That's always something... wfnx.com/blogs/adam12/Liam%20&%20Gem%20of%20Beady%20Eye%20%2801_11%29.mp3

I listen to WFNX
I liked the interviewer. I think what he was trying to say came out wrong a bit. There are two Dj's on that station that are huge Oasis fans and he was really trying to say "ha I get to do this and not you two" in a joking way.. I think he was on the spot and lost the wording or phrasing on what he wanted to really say

I don't really think he's a twat, but he's got that radio voice which really makes everything sound so much more douchey ,if that's a word. It's prob. me who's just bitter and angry over not having a job in radio... Someday the day will come, and good music plus interesting interviews will reign over the Swedish people!

Nice enough interview. Nothing new but Good to see BDI reaching out to America radio stations. Interviewer seemed alright to me.

Liam's voice sounded very tired... Hoping it won't sound tired live!

I live in the Boston area but I really don't listen to WFNX or much radio anymore. I get my music from reviews and online articles, Myspace, etc. I can say this much though - if the interviewer was Paul Driscoll, he is a HUGE Oasis fan. He even claimed once that he is the drummer in an Oasis tribute fan and he considers Noel to be a musical God. Then again, he may be a bit bitter because the band has carried on without Noel, so who knows? But I seriously doubt it - I think he'd welcome Beady Eye with open ears.

Nice little interview. It was Driscoll and the morning host he referred to as the "Oasis droolers". This guy's called Adam.

I had some beers with Paul Driscoll once in a bar just outside Boston (Brighton). He's originally from Philadelphia and he told me a story of how he once picked Liam up from the airport around 1994 (as apparently that was one of his duties working at a radio station in Philly). He said Liam got in the back seat and didn't say a word. Paul's a great guy and I saw him play in his Oasis tribute band once. Great night and he's been a huge supporter of Oasis on his radio station (WFNX). Because of him, Oasis get played all the time in Boston. I also believe he is a member of this forum although he rarely posts...
