This is prob pointless, but im constantly having to explain who beady eye are to mates, family and whoever else haha

you always come back to the erm "oasis without noel" i dont think they are doing enough promotion or maybe im not catching most of it ive seen magazines and the rest but as for tv or youtube ads i aint seen much if anything

But it might have something to do with where you live. If you're from the US, then there's no way anyone knows about DBI

The promotion is a average. To me, its no different than the promotion that Oasis did toward the end, but then again Oasis did have the name regonition and didnt have to really promote that much.

So yeah, that promotion has been some what sub par.

The promotion has been alright with the singles/cheap videos so people can get a taster for them, still think Bring the light as the first free release was a bad choice as everyone mostly panicked. If 4 letter word came out then Bring the light it wouldnt have been such a shock.

I've had to explain to a few mates who i cant believe havent heard of Beady Eye (as theyre into decent music). When i say the Oasis-Noel line they then come out with 'bet the songs are crap then' which i reply theyre not, you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Granted theres not a CD-UK or Top of the pops but how come theres no adverts on TV with some sort of suggestion that 'liams back...' kinda thing. They may be on the front cover of Rolling Stone etc in various countries but in the UK apart from the hardcore masses/NME fans i think most people havent heard of them which is a huge shame
