With it only 9 days away from release, I think it's time to set up a thread. Mainly cos I just found this song on youtube:
Sounding really good. I think this album could be really really good. Shame it's his last, the man has released some top stuff.

I can't listen to the Streets without cringing, i feel embarrased for them. The Elton John song they did for the radio 1 40th or whatever was the worst cover in the history of ever.

I haven't seen The Streets live, but I would love to. In any case, I think this album is miles better than his last 2 efforts. Really pleased with it.

A very solid record for his swan song. It's always so hard to find them in the shops in America. As with all his albums, this was is definitely a grower. Very solid 8/10. Can't believe he bucked his own trend and had a relatively short closing track.
However, it seems EIB shoiuld've been the final record. I think EIB is the best record I'd heard in a long time. OPM was a master stroke, I didn't think too much of Grand4Free, actually enjoyed HardestWay.
Never got to see him live unfortunately. YouTube videos will have to do. The Streets are easily my favorite hip-hop artist, if you can call it that. Amazing records with some awesome words/thoughts.
I would be willing to bet Mike will go back on his word and release another streets disc in a few years.
