Real positive vibes from that. Doesn't look there'll be any 2 year breaks. Looks to be the same consistent release pattern that early Oasis had.

^^Will be interesting to see what they can do when they dont have a ton of old songs to fall back on.
Great find, though

Really exciting read, you can really feel the enthusiasm from them all! Was nice knowing that Chris plays a role in the direction of the band too, they really seem sick of the whole "Chief" thing don't they?
On another note, Beat Goes on is Andy's? Would have bet my life that it was Liam's ("Singing a song... are you singing along?" shenanigans!) Reviews all point that its one if the THE best on the album, looking forward to hearing it.

^^Will be interesting to see what they can do when they dont have a ton of old songs to fall back on. That's the same problem all new bands have. It's the problem Noel said he had with Be Here Now and SOTSOG.

Classic interview, the vibe of the band is how I expected it. Early beatles vibes with all 4 getting on and working on the songs together which is great and how I want a band to be. They genuinely seem excited and proud, especially Gem & Andy as this is probably the biggest they have been in the spotlight with their songwriting and playing and integral part in the band's makeup.
Cant wait to hear the record, its not gonna be Oasis but I think it'll stand up well in its own right. Bring It On.

Actually it's a shame those 30 seconds preview leaked. Imagine if they didn't, we would have had those 3 complete different, quite amazing singles, and we wouldn't have a clue of how the album was going to be. Not that the previews are bad, on the contrary, but I wish I hadn't heard them.... I think I'd be even more excited now... Any lucky bastards here who haven't heard the preview yet?

This interview is so positive that makes me wonder if was invented by Dangerbird to sell their fish. Nice to know that Gem is the one that drives things in the studio. Couldn't imagine Liam doing that Nice bits about Chris, too Thanks for posting!

They seem really passionate about this and I like that they all feel as if this is their band. I think that all had the feeling that Oasis was Noel's band and they had a part in it but this is truly theirs.
When you think about it, this seems to have been exactly the way that it should have ended up. Noel brought in these great musicians that he couldn't used properly and didn't need because they don't really fit into his process. Noel has always been a solitary musician not prone to true collaboration. Oasis were never going to be the band that Beady Eye is so Andy Bell especially was criminally wasted.
It makes so much sense for Noel to leave Liam in the hands of the musician that he picked out so that he could go off and start making his own records again...which he hasn't done since SOTSOG...maybe even BHN. Back to the days when he didn't have to run anything by the band before making a decision.

"The template for Beady Eye is the same one we had for early Oasis. Put out a lot of great singles not on the album with great B-sides, keep it flowing"
So we can expect even more music! woo hoo!

Any lucky bastards here who haven't heard the preview yet? I'm one of the few, decided that it was all or nothing for me! More than happy with what I've heard so far. Won't be able to resist any leak though!

This is the best interview yet. I really like the sound of this:
“The mission never changes,” concludes Gem, “if you’re not feeling it put it down. And that day has never come and I don’t see it coming for a long time.”

i had never heard of dangerbird records. Silversun Pickups was their biggest group. Interesting record pick. I'm sure they could have gone to any big ones.

Great, looks like their second album could be out rather soon (compared to the time Oasis took between albums), like in the early Oasis years!
