I'm bit worried about BDIs live shows. The album sounds damn good imo, but I'm missing rockers. Out of those 30 second clips more than half of the album is ballads. I'm sure most of them are good ballads and I'll probably like them all. It worries me how they are going to sound live. Liam is still good in the studio, but I doubt he can deliver that good live on spesific songs(like For anyone)... But Liams voice is not what worries me the most, he's got the carisma to cover it What worries me the most is the lack of rockers. Do they have enough songs to make the crowd go wild?? Out of what I've heard these are the only ones: FLW, SOTS, SOTEON, BTL, (TRC)...Maybe I'm spoiled by Oasis' mindblowing list of rockers (MG, C&A, RWI, RNRS etcetc). I'm just afraid that people on for example festivals, that are not Oasis fans, will find BDI boring Some thoughts?

Lol those are already 5 rockers. +I think you can also count beetles and stones. WTSMG only had 4 rockers so... And as you can hear from the short Spanish live recording from the studio, songs like "millionaire" aren't exactly going to be acoustic either... So You shouldn't be too worried..

I thought about this too. They can make ballads sound like rockers if they want to - millionaire is a good example like Dytoon mentioned. I can totally see them playing The Roller with full guitars. would sound amazing

count me as one who hopes they stick to acoustic when the song is acoustic. It's like that on the record cause it sounds better. That last Oasis tour i was just happy they stopped with that awful electric wonderwall.

When I first heard the previews this is what I was worried about, not many 'rockers' for the live shows but I've thought about it and it isn't a bad thing at all, will be fantastic to hear some of the ballads live, taking it all in and tbh we still have a few rockers to go mental too - Four Letter Word, Bring The Light, Standing On The Edge Of The Noise, Three Ring Circus, Sons Of The Stage, Beatles And Stones as well as possibly Millionaire if the rehearsal clip is anything to go by so I think it'll be a cracking mix.
Can't wait.

WTSMG only had 4 rockers so... Hehe, Fair enough . But then they already had DM(where nearly all of them are rockin + b-sides like Headshrinker) How many songs do you think they are going to play? 16-17? If they are going to play more than 15 songs it is not enough with 5 rockers imo... But as you said, they might spice up songs like "millionaire" etc with electric guitars. Personally I usually prefer acoustic guitars on acoustic songs, but...It depends

The b-side to The Roller two of a kind could be a rocker aswell...

I wish people would stop acting like they've heard the album. You cannot judge either way on 30 second clips.

Nobody does, we're all just speculating. That's what's so exciting about a new release...

If you want to hear them playing exactly like the album you should stay home listening to the album

That last Oasis tour i was just happy they stopped with that awful electric wonderwall. I never understood why they insisted on fucking up beautiful songs like Wonderwall, DLBIA and sometimes Live Forever with tons of electric guitars. Wonderwall and DLBIA pre-DOYS tour really sounded awful compared to the studio versions. The rockers were of course amazing and unmatched by anyone. As for the Beady Eye Tour, the main problem is Liam's voice. People said it was getting better at the end of the DOYS-tour but watching the Melt-festival clips, it's just terrible and embarrising. But it seems they are very eager about Beady Eye, so maybe Liam has done something about his voice.

Dude, DLBIA from FTM is massive. I like that version even more than the album version. But acoustically it's one of the most emotional songs I know, I think it works both ways.

i hated the electric version of Wonderwall but DLBIA was awesome played that way live. the way they played it during the DOYS tours was fuckin' gay imo. i mean, to sentimental/emotional. I'm not into that sort of thing. too slow, too boring for my taste.

According to the new interview they'll release more songs as singles that are not on the album. That could solve some live issues

^ But they are playing dates just a few days after the album drops. They can't be relying on that immediately.

A song doesnt need to be electric to be rockin', just needs a quick tempo, some drive and energy.
The Roller is rockin' because its got a good stomp and gets on at a quick pace, I imagine Millionaire & maybe Morning Son (2nd half) will be the same.
