Date - 14th Feb 2007 Location - Earls Court,London Event - 2007 Brit Awards
What a night,Well not really,it was just the end that was 'Biblical' (In LG's Words!). Russell Brand said 'And The Brits 2007 belongs to Oasis!' - This was after the band had been given the 2007 'Lifetime Achievement' award. What a performance they gave. Opened the show with a quite simply,Bliding version of 'Cigarettes and Alcohol'. Then the 'New Track' of 'Meaning Of Soul' after that came a classic version of 'Morning Glory' maybe not as good as a stadium environment of the song but,In terms of the location of it,it was fantastic. Noel after that,As he always did,Gave his heart and soul into a amazing version of DLBIA. If it had been 10 years before poor standard mainstream became socially acceptable, then he would have had the whole of Earls Court in song! The final track came and with the words from Liam of 'This one's for all the popstars,Goodnight!' It was 'Rock 'N' Roll Star'. Pure and utter class.
On the whole,it's one of my all time favourite Oasis Performances,Just pure class. It was also the night where i sat with my mum and stepdad and just said 'It's moments like these,Which show just,Why i Love Oasis'.
I'll use the same final line in this as i do with many other (Non Oasis Also) gigs
'Aye,It's good,But not as good as Oasis At Murrayfield!'
What did everyone else think of this Gig?

Liam sounded atrocious. The band was rocking though. Very rough vocals from Liam, but at least he was in tune! Great version of DLBIA though.

Liam sounded atrocious. The band was rocking though. I don't think Liam's vocal performance was that bad. The band looked really cool and on top form, not to mention the way they received the award.. not giving a damn as usual. Classic Oasis ;D

4 years where has time gone? It wasn't too bad of a show. I remember talk of them getting the award from Johnny Deep to Ringo or something good times.

I think Liam sound really great at Brits 07', really great! And the band sounds amazing, and look cool as fuck! I can't understand why people think his voice is so bad in this performance.

I can't believe it was four years ago. I just remember being happy we got a performance nearly a year after the DBTT tour ended!

meself and the girlfriend watched the whole show (I watched for Oasis, she wanted to see Amy Wino) and I remember her saying when Oasis came on - "Jesus they sound good, way better than everyone else on the show" - and she's not one to compliment them, maybe because she's probably sick of them by now because I do play them quite a lot.
