Yes, they are different songs. But I'm comparing the worst song on the album for many so far (BTL) to a b-side, excluded from the album (TWOMR).
Love the energy and vibe of BTL, but TWOMR gets my vote. The dog verse is pretty stupid, though, but for some reason I'm not bothered at all with that with this song.

We already got a couple of TWOMR on the album and it's too discrete to be a single. (yes, it's special but it does have that Beatles/Kinks vibe which seems to dominate DGSS).
But I'm liking it for what it is.

World Outside is my favourite song do far. I'm really digging it. I can't remember enjoying a song this much for quite some time.

I've going with World Outside My Room. I really like the song. I think its much better than BTL.
The more and more tracks I heard from the new album, the more I think BTL is gonna be a skip track (even though the song we just heard is a b-side). I'm just gonna skip that one when I hear it. Still cant believe a while back, people were praising it.

I like TWOMR but cant help feeling that if this had been released first like BTL was then people would have been disappointed with it.
TWOMR has been released as a B-side and thats exactly what it is IMO.

Meh... didn't like it
And it sounds exactly like My Babe of Little Walter.
BTL is not a great song but at least the piano and the girls backing vocals made me smile on the first listen.

Like I said on the other thread it smells like blues all over it. I don't get the comparisons to the Beatles and The Kinks...

WOMR.
Really digging the LG vocal. Seems Liam might enjoy a little Donovan with his Kinks.
BE are showing some range with these tunes. Nice.

Lyrically TWOMR is far superior and Liam's vocal is better than on BTL, but BTL does have the energy and drive.
So for that they are equal, they both do different things for me as do FLW, The Roller etc. So glad Beady Eye are covering every base and adding variety to the songs. Come March were gonna have 20 songs and gonna struggle to find 2 that are similar I think.
BTL suits the album better than TWOMR but both should be b-sides in my opinion as they are too far out of the comfort zone to be an a-side or album track.

WOMR is a great little tune. Oasis didn't even produce a b-side as good as that since the Heathen Chemistry days.
