We already have two threads about Brother, NME's masturbation material, so what does everyone think about the other guitar rock saving British saviors of music The Vaccines?
A bit dull, aren't they? It's a shame that earlier last decade we had bands like The Strokes, Arctic Monkeys, and The Libertines and now... this. I guess I should really wait until their debut album comes out to full pass judgment, but all of their tunes seem so boring so far.

A good friend of mine recommended them a while ago, but I haven't heard any of their songs yet, so I really can't say about them.
To be honest, all the bands being called like "The next big thing" don't impress me. I love to find a good band by some accident by listening them on a radio or seeing them at a festival. That's how I found The National, Erland and The Carnival, The Twilight Sad, Frightened Rabbit, Sparrow and The Workshop etc. The last couple of years have been a great music years to me, so this year will be same or even better, I hope, I think, I know.

I hate the fact that they are being hyped by NME, but I always liked their music. They are not like Brother, who make the hype themselves. It think Wrecking Bar and others are good songs and I will definetly buy their album.

Meh...nothing special. Of all these "bands to watch for in 2011" Mona are the only one's that actually have any sort of potential. And even they're kind of just early Kings Of Leon and the image of the Gaslight Anthem. But they seem to have at least a few good songs and the vocalist can sing circles around the rest of the singers for these hyped bands.
