Oasis failed to make even the top 50 with their fifth album Heathen Chemistry The inventive hard rock band are based around guitarist-singer Josh Homme and bassist Nick Oliveri. Runner-up was British act The Streets for debut release Original Pirate Material. Rock giants Oasis failed to make the top 50 with their fifth album Heathen Chemistry. HMV has produced the UK's only Poll of Polls, compiled from the individual Album of the Year listings in 12 of the country's leading music publications. Magazine polls which were analysed for the list include NME, Mojo, The Face and Muzik. The top ten are: 1. Songs For The Deaf - Queens Of The Stone Age. 2. Original Pirate Material - The Streets. 3.
