1. D'You Know What I Mean? 10/10 2. Some Might Say 10/10 3. Supersonic 10/10 4. Go Let It Out 10/10 5. The Shock Of The Lightning 10/10 6. The Hindu Times 10/10 7. Lyla 9/10 8. The Roller 9/10
Actually, the lead single has been my favourite tune on each album, except DM (favour Live Forever) and DOYS (favour Bag It Up).

Really surprise by alot of people voting Lyla. There are some good parts in that song. Starkey on drums in that song is amazing and its probably the best drum performance post WTSMG. Only songs Oasis did that came close was TSOTL. Lyla also has some of the best harmonies by Noel and Liam in a long time. There's not one song on DOYS where they show that kind of harmony and only 1 on HC and basically none on SOTSOG.
Really surprised.

1. The Shock of the Lightning 2. D'You Know What I Mean? 3. Supersonic 4. The Roller 5. The Hindu Times 6. Go Let It Out 7. Some Might Say 8. Lyla
Lyla being on an Oasis album can only be justified with thousands of fans singing along the chorus. Without that it's just a dull song.

^^You've got TSOTL as #1? Oh, wow. And the Roller just behind Supersonic? Eh, I gues everyone has their opnion.

hindu times is garbage. Lyla is great. And a song becoming awesome after seeing it live is ok with me. All are incredible, Oasis never released a bad lead single. If i had to pick one (which i do ) it'd be some might say, never liked it as much as all the others there what the shit

I find it worse that there are some votes for Supersonic. But like I said, to each his own. SMS is a great track. Prob not in the Top half of the best songs off of WTSMG, but then again it is WTSMG so there you go. If put on say DOYS, DBTT, SOTSOG, or even BHN, would prob be one of the top 5 on those albums.

^^^ You just made me realize how great WTSMG really is. I wouldn't put SMS in the top 3 on that album, but there isn't a track on DOYS, DBBT, or SOTSOG that I would put before it right now. My opinion might change tomorrow, but that's where it is right now.
It makes me remember when I first heard WTSMG and I thought it sounded like a "Greatest Hits" album. It was that good. Most bands best songs put together can't stand up to that.

Some Might Say production makes me cringe. It's all brilliant except the production

putthisin is right, i hate the production of some might say. i don't like to listen to it. for the other ones, i gave my vote to the roller. i can't imagine liam can sing this song live. perhaps like lyla, he will never get the high notes in this one, but lyla is rocking, so i don't mind. but on the roller you'll listen more intense, and this could be a disaster

Lyla. Boring, lame tune, and still one of the best songs on DBTT (yeah, I'm not into DBTT too much). D'You Know What I Mean and Supersonic are the best imo, with Supersonic being the only lead single that is actually the best song on the album (although you could say LF is, but they're on the same level). The Roller is on the same level as TSOTL, Go Let It Out and SMS, and better than Hindu Times and Lyla.

^^You've got TSOTL as #1? Oh, wow. And the Roller just behind Supersonic? Eh, I gues everyone has their opnion. It's different from time to time but my #1 choice would probably be either TSOTL or DYKWIM. The Roller is there because the rawer sound is amazingly appealing.

i like all the Oasis lead singles(for the most part). Even The Hindu Times--which isn't one of my favorite Oasis songs-- i like. The only one i never really got was DYKWIM, bash me all you want, that song is way too much noise for my liking, no true melody, just too much going on in that song. The video i love tho. Lyla was just meh... the video was stupid, and you barely got to see the band at all. It's fair to point out that the song is massive live, but the album version is nothing special imo.

I went with Lyla, the studio version is just a tad to boring in my opinion. Live, however, its a different monster.
Also, would have to agree that the production on SMS is utter shite, really doesn't live up to the song.

Either people are not seeing The Roller as an option or it is holding up pretty well, considering we're talking about Oasis it would be interesting to revisit this poll in a year from now, to see what people think then... i didn't vote--- too difficult.
