^^Oasis is pretty big in Dallas, true. I dont think the rest of the country plays Oasis even once a month. lol So comparative to the rest of the country, once a week is pretty good, twice a day is amazing.

I live in Pennsylvania and I just heard Champagne Supernova on the radio the other day. It was the first Oasis song I've heard in I don't know how long, and it was at like midnight. So I'm not expecting to hear much BE around here.
They do play Oasis in my local grocery store a lot, though it isn't actually a radio station they play. I've heard She Is Love and Cast No Shadow recently. Strange choices, imo.

^^She Is Love is the weird one. lol The most random track to know off of HC. I love CNS. One of the 3 or 4 best tracks off of WTSMG.

^^Hope it becomes big in Canada. What would really help, is if The Roller or something from BDI, really got big in a ton of other countries first. And I mean really big. If that were to happen, then they would start getting some pub. in America because it would give them a reason to play it.

Worried about the lack of UK air time it's getting, no Radio 1, no local from what I've heard.
I know they have a session with Zane Lowe coming up but it's not looking good.

CNS is definitely one of the best off WTSMG, still surprising considering it wasn't a single though. I'm not real familiar with how radio playtime works, but is there a chance The Roller will get more time after the single is actually released?

CNS is definitely one of the best off WTSMG, still surprising considering it wasn't a single though. I'm not real familiar with how radio playtime works, but is there a chance The Roller will get more time after the single is actually released? You hope that it does, but that has more to do with time. By the time a single is released, the airplay should be getting near a peak. In terms of airplay you'll usually know whether a song's airplay will take off by the second week after its been released. If it hasnt made any kind of a significant jump where it can get its own legs, then it prob wont. The Roller is starting off really really slow, comparative to Oasis singles. But that is to be expected considering BDI doesnt have name recognition and major radio stations arent obligated to play it because its not a big band name, like an "Oasis" BDI will have some airplay success, but I really do think that for them its gonna be like most new bands. They're gonna have to get their name out there and build up a reputation, for them to get consistent radio play. So tell you the truth, I think BDI will prob have moderate success with their airplay with the first album, and then on the second (if the first album is good) thats when they'll break through and get some consistent radio play. But to answer your question, airplay will prob increase by the time the single is released and will prob jump a bit when its released. How much it jumps, depends on the leg work and momentum the single has built up. A great example is TSOTL. It built up a crap load of momentum and then when it was released, the radio airplay took a sharp jump and then started growing on its own when it had its legs. It grew to a point where Oasis got it to #12 and almost in the top ten of the Modern Rock charts in the US. Dont think The Roller will do that, but airplay should jump a bit after its been released.

The Roller was the #1 requested song of the day in Toronto (102.1), at least according to a show at 5pm that plays the songs most requested online.

They do get played quite a lot on a Studio Brussels (Belgian radio station). They play The Roller about once a day, and Brint The Light is still in a list where people can vote for every week.

Absolute Radio play Bring the light & The Roller quite often. As for Radio 1 there unlikely to add it to there playlist unless it gets to number 1. Also Radio 1's playlist is FUCKING dyer!!!!

Yeah Radio 1 pisses me right off, i dont have a choice to turn it at work, why havent they gave beady eye a fuckin chance? Its an inoffensive pop tune, thats why i hope all the fans buy it and if it gets in the top 5 it will be a sweet fuck you to George Ergotoudis (the accountant looking R1 playlist boss)
