When you hear the new tunes I think it's pretty obvious that there are no notes that are gonna trouble Liam when he sings live, if you listen to them he dosent really strain his vocals does he, obviously he knows his limits so he's songwriting to suit
The days of him singing types of songs like Rock & Roll star are over unless the band take a chord down of you know what I mean so he could reach them notes
Also the new songs have been untouched vocally i think, you could tell on a few Oasis albums that it was polished or that awful computer thing was used but on this it seems like a live take especially on FLW
Overall though I'm quite impressed with Liams voice & also the songs, We've heard a few songs & in my humble opinion I think their pretty good & just think we have another 12/13 to hear yet, 10 from the album & a couple more b-sides
For me it's all been pretty exciting & it helps with the passing of Oasis!!
Bring on the gigs!
I can't bloody wait !!!

BTL vocals are amazing.
I think he may have troubles singing "roleeeeeeeeeeeer" He can't hold notes for that long. Remember wonderwall, which is similar on that matter.

We'll soon see live!
Theres one of the clips though i just think he wouldn't nail & to be honest I don't think theyd touch it live You know the one where he sings
"& you tell the driver just drive cos you've never felt so alive"
& for anyone may be a bit risky

Do you not think The Beat Goes on and Kill For A Dream sound like they'll be difficult? But for me, Liam's voice was incredible at Wembley Stadium and generally great throughout the DOYS tour.
I believe he still has it, even if many dont.

Yeah he definitely still has it, no questioning that, he may not be able to reach the high notes he did back in the day but he still has that reconisable voice, the only reason he gets a bit dodgy is because of the long tours, by the end of a tour he struggles

Isn't it better that it is?!?!? Liam writing for Liam and Noel not trying to write for him?!?!?

Yeah it is, definitely
It's an obvious benefit & you'll see it in the live shows I think

For me he was hit & miss thoughout that DOYS tour, the gig that was on MTV i thought he sounded rubbish, but when i saw them in Cardiff & Cornwall he was excellent, I think when it comes to live shows it has a lot to do with him being up for it too, at times on that tour it looked like he couldn't be bothered & was very angry
