I voted would the F*** cares. A question about which it ripped off most is the stupidest question I have ever heard. Not because I don't think they ripped off the Beatles and Lennon...but how on earth are you supposed to say which was used more? most people give a listen to all the songs and make their own opinion based on what they hear

But the only thing is everything is real tonight, tonight, tonight! Just call me the rolleeeeeeerrrrr!!
I'm buzzin to the sound of it and excited for this album. I'm glad I don't care about this rip off shit.
Did anyone though about this: If the band thought they would gonna be slagged off for The Roller or if they thought it was too much like another song, don't you think they would have not release it or, at least, changed the chords or the melody a little bit? I don't think they're that lazy.
Their perspective of what is the song is very different than our perspective. They see what we don't see, and vice-versa. Sure, I bet they knew it was similar to IK. But I also know that they thought it was great and and put it on the album the way they wanted it....
I much rather listen to the Roller than to Instant Karma, not caring if TR is worst or unoriginal. It sounds great.

The chords from the verse are from Cum On Feel the Noize, just three half-steppes down. That's probably just a coincidence, as it is impossible to come up with a chord progression that hasn't been thought of before.

How do you possibly separate that and say...they ripped off song a more than song b... If I saw three kids. A) wearing a red top and jeans, B) wearing a purple top and black slacks, and C) wearing a purple top and jeans. And someone asked me who C) is dressed more like, A) or B), I'd be just as fricking lost. LOL

Noel claims it was never on an album cause they couldn't get it right in studio. Yet Liam and co. can do it in 2 weeks? hmm.

Maybe someone had a epiphany about how to get around the roadblock that they had encountered in 2002.
