this could be good, the verves madia vale session in 2008 was something like 7 or 8 songs along with ashcroft being interviewed

If it's gonna be a 7-8 song session. It'll probably be a while, won't it? Considering they only have 6 songs with one of them being a cover.
I'll bet we have a month and a bit to go.
It'll be exciting for to hear what Liam is sounding like live though.

Is a promo opportunity on Radio 1 the best way to premiere new material of a new band with no classics to fall back on. Besides this session will be about talking about the album? Shouldn't they be using an interview like that to increase peoples interest closer to the album release date? |

I think Oasis did it before DOYS was out, on that rehearsal gig. i would like this but i doubt they would do it so soon. i'd imagine they'll do it just before the album release so the songs will still be in peoples heads when the albums out. if they did it now then people would have long forgot about it and the session would've been little advantage |

This is great, great news! This sort of live sessions in studio usually end up producing great live performances, especially since Liam can take care of his voice without shouting and all that.
I remember The Verve's session in 2008 and it was a-ma-zing.

Going to be great hearing these live as there seems to be loads of acoustic on the album - I cant see them doing what Noel did and convert them to electric for the sake of it being live?  ?? |
