Things looking good for them

Okay, but how much is that are different fans viewing or the same fans over and over again watching the videos. The numbers really dont matter to me. Just because there's no way to tell how much of that is individual fans viewing it and how much of it is Oasis fans viewing it over and over again.
So no, I think they should still stick with smaller venues and see how the crowds are. They should not try to move up too fast.

^ Of course it is. I bet Lady Gaga videos also are repeatedly viewed by one person. All videos are... The point I'm trying to make is that FLW got a spot in these lists and, in some, shines in the midst of all the videos in the fucking world, including of those shit artists that are immensely popular.
But yeah, they must take it slow. Although I believe they would sell out a Uk arena easily.

^^ahahaha they're is no real point. You said the "world" knows they exists. Thats probably not the case. Its Oasis fans who know they exist. And its probably Oasis fans who have inlfated those numbers a bit.
I mean dont get me wrong, I'm sure that there a few casual fans who clicked on the youtube spot and thought it was good or something like that, but I think in the end most the numbers are inflated by Oasis fans.
Like I said, those "most viewed", "highest rated" youtube lists really dont mean anything.

If FLW was considered shit by the overall fans (and non fans) it wouldn't get so many views. Period.
Your negativity in the last few days is just irritating. It's like you login to the fucking forum just to contradict happy fans.
So be the "conscious" guy you think you are and choose, consciously, only to post in Oasis section of the forum. Everybody deserves to share their opinion and for it to be respected but I could never respect a purposely annoying person. Either stop doing that or remove that shit under your avatar - it embarrasses you

^^I choose to see both sides. I'm not negative, just a realist. I choose to see the happy and the sad, and not just see one or the other. I dont mind other people being happy, I just like to have an even keel. If ytou dont like it, then dont read my posts.
-Something can be a shit, but seen by many people. Like a car wreck. Though thats not to say that FLW is shit. Its actually a pretty good song.
^^that is an example of me seeing both sides and not just seeing one. If you just want people to be happy and not at least see the realist part of any story, then maybe you're in the wrong place.
Also the name Conscience of The Forum is not meant to be condesending. Its actually a tribute to one of my favorite stories, which is called Conscience of The Court by Zora Neale Hurston. You should look it up, its a great story. I just took the title and morphed it for this forum. The story is about a black woman being falsely accused of doing something that she didnt do, because of a overzealous blood thirsty town. She keeps an even keel about herself and by doing that she somehow gets out of it and is cleared of all charges. Its a reminder to myself to always see both sides.
The good and the bad.

Also, I think if you look at my past 200 posts, you'll find that I comment a lot more on the BDI part of the forum, than I do on the Oasis part of the forum.

Remember in this modern day and age that word travels a lot faster than it did back in the 90's. I've posted Bring The Light, Sons Of The Stage, and Four Letter Word on my facebook page, and while I can't say that for certain, I'm sure that at least a few people who where only casual fans of Oasis (Only heard Wonderwall and like that song for instance), clicked those links. And I can say with a certainty that I'm not the only one in here that have posted Beady Eye vids or written about them on my facebook page or twitter. Though no doubt in my mind that the majority of Beady Eye fans are Oasis fans as well.

#5 most discussed video in the UK is pretty good by YouTube measures.
I'd use YouTube stats as a measure of popularity over single and album charts any day.

Its also good to know you don't think that you're the 'Conscience of The Forum' that would have definately gone in the bad catagory.

Plus people click to see what they are like - I do that for songs before I buy albums - doesn't mean the song is good.

And of course some people have watched it a gazillion times, but that goes for every video on YouTube; its an even battlefield.

Number of views can be deceiving, but each person can only favourite and rate a video ONE time. So, at least, those stats are accurate.

That Spaneli dude seems to think that whenever someone thinks something is great, he's immediately not being objective.
Mate its obvious they're popular, this doesn't even have anything to do with the music. This is Liam Gallagher's new band, even those Oasis bashers will check the vid out, to try and milk any mockery than can out of it.
You say we should be aware of repeated viewings? Christ, do you realise that its not only BDI fans that watch vids more than once? So basically, you think all the videos above BDI have been watched once by all the viewers?
Mate, not trying to start an argument or whatever, but the way you've been talking since BDI released its material, its like you think you're superior than the rest of us, only coz you're not ecstatic about them.
For the record, I love Four Letter word; been bashing it out on the loudspeakers since its been out, and its the first song in a long, long while that's been on repeat for me. The album's gonna be decent, at the very, very least.
Mad fer it?

If you wanted really amazing views on youtube we should have made the video go viral the day it came out.
We can always do it for 'The Roller' ;D

Also, its #7 top favourited which must say something because one person can only favourite once so its not oasis fans doing it over and over again

I like you spaneli. You keep it real despite the haters. Your posts are usually informative and thought out. Kudos to you! Maybe a tad dry at times, but i'd take that over either of the extremes any day.

I've seen people that weren't into Oasis much sharing FLW on their facebook. I'm 100% sure the album will go straight to number one.

True story, i asked a lot of my mates a few weeks ago have you heard the beady eye tune? which most said yeah its ok. None of them were really into oasis either and listen to shite like the wombats and other NME type music
