Sums up the current music industry. The older, established acts are selling out massive gigs at large prices and tying themselves into lucrative worldwide merch deals. Sadly it means the music industry and media turns its back on new talent preferring to back the 'guarantees' of established acts rather than develop an artist. Thank god for indies.

I've seen none of them on the list this year, but been to so many gigs and found some great new bands. I bought some great albums.
2010 was a great year for music to me and I hope it'll be the same or even better in 2011.
