Is there official confirmation anywhere that The Roller actually is coming out in January? If so, where is it?

UPDATE: THE ROLLER WILL BE VIDEO SHOWN ON CHANNEL 4.
When: Monday 10th Jan/Tues 11th at 12:10am.
Exclusive first showing of 'The Roller' the debut video Beady Eye, the song is taken from their forthcoming album Different Gear, Still Speeding.
Not sure if this means this is the new single or not. But seeing as this one is on Channel 4, unlike Bring The Light, we shall presume it is.

It wouldn't surprise me if they never realeased an official single, I know bring the light is on iTunes but it wasn't your proper single release was it, they've done things very differently & it looks as if The Roller will be just a promo video as normally channel 4 would say "The video for their new single" .
Maybe it'll just be promo videos & limited edition singles like bring the light & four letter word?
I was really hoping that they'd release standing on the edge of the noise as single a week before the album comes out as it sounds like a banging tune but what I'm the drop in the ocean

It may not be a single (although I think it is gonna be)...but I am puzzled by why you would think that they would release SOTS as a single... Have you been hearing Sons of the Stage anywhere around on radio or something? Why would they have already released their a single as a B-side on a previous promo/single? Why would they present a cover as their first proper single? And if it was...why would that song not be on the album that the presumably the single would be trying to create hype for? You are right that we should be hearing something soon though. But they may be debuting the song and the video together though. |
