I just said they've got the same sound..kinda, and I like that sound. I agree with kitjenson. It's a 20% scale. 4/5 is not the same as 9/10 for example. 4LW is not a 9/10 imo.

I think the album overall will be solid. I have a feelign we have heard the cream of the crop off the album. I wasn't really wasnt expecting anything anyways, so i dont feel letdown.

I don't think Beady Eye's album will be great. I think it will be a solid decent album, but not great - and if it is great, then even better. But I can't see it.

I look forward to albums by REM, Elbow, Fleet Foxes, Coldplay, U2, etc more than Beady Eye.

A Noel Gallagher solo album is a different matter altogether.

Personally I think that FLW is a 6/10 or a 3/5 whatever.

I can understand people liking it more than I do...but the people that give it a 5/5 are baffling. Do they seriously believe that it is one of the best songs they have ever heard? It's an above average song but some of the hyperbolic talk about this one is insane.

People natter on about...well it's better than most modern music. But personally I compare music I am considering buying to the the music my own record collection not the modern charts that I barely pay attention to because I don't most of the music...

i agree with this completely. except the REM part

call me a fool. If they release an solid album then I'll be happy. I doubt that they have it in them to make a truly great and I seriously doubt with out Noel that they are capable of making a classic album. If i can get some new tunes with Liam's one of a kinda snarl, some nice guitar work by Gem and Andy and some solid drumming work from Chris i'll be satisfied.

Noel's album on the other hand i'm already excited for. I have no idea when it'll be released and what will be on it (acoustic ballads, psychedelia?) but i'm expecting great things from Noel. He may not have the "let's have it" attitude of Liam but he writes the better tunes and i expect that he'll have the better tunes when he releases his album. sorry for making this a noel vs beady eye type of thing i didn't mean it to turn out that way haha.

good music is good music i don't care who its from.
