Wow! What a great song. Much better than bring the light. This should have been the first single. Even has a true guitar Solo in it...something we haven't heard in a while in an Oasis song. Just ordered my 7". So pumped for the CD now

I wasn't crazy about any of the preview clips and was shocked at how much i like four letter word. i wasnt expecting anything great.

I don't think Liam would write such a good rocker. And I doubt Gem would write about Noel since they are pals. I got a feeling that this one is Andy's

I think liam wrote it. Andy wouldn't talk shit about noel. Since noel hired him and made him a member of rock royalty.

This song kicks what we've heard of The Roller in it's arse. I thought that by hearing the two clips, and I feel it even more now. This should have been the first proper single, unless The Roller has some quality depth to it.

This should have been the first proper single, unless The Roller has some quality depth to it. It gives me great hope that they really have a fantastic track in The Roller if they can have that as first single and Four Letter Word isn't even a single

One of the best up-tempo rockers oasis has done since bring it on down.
Cool lyrics, cool melody. I'm excited.

I don't think Liam would write such a good rocker. And I doubt Gem would write about Noel since they are pals. I got a feeling that this one is Andy's Don't underestimate Liam mate. I've always thought we've yet to hear his best. In 2002 he wrote the rubbish that is Little James, and six years later he came out with IOT and Soldier On. Noel said that in 5 years time Liam would be the best songwriter in the UK, he may have been joking but at the rate Liam's going you never know. He's getting better with each record that's for certain.

Are they shipping the 7" on 17th Jan or did I misunderstand that? If so, that's after The Roller's release isn't it? I'd love to hear the b-side before that.

lol i get that Little James has terrible lyrics but it is what it is... i know that's a cliche and all but hey... We've all heard worse(thinks of Kesha, Lady Gaga, Usher, anything that's on the radio these days)

We've all heard worse(thinks of Kesha, Lady Gaga, Usher, anything that's on the radio these days) Melodically, I think Little James is a nice song and it would have certainly been better if it was produced in a more Songbird way: acoustic, short. Of course the lyrics ruin it all
