I think it sounds like "Will you guess me meaning?"
(So people don't have to go find it to play it again if they need to)

Really gets my meaning is the lyric. Its really clear i don't know why people aren't sure...It's also the only one that makes sense.

Both are very plausible. If you want to hear "really gets", you hear it. If you want to hear, "will you guess...", same thing...

Actually, maybe it's "will he guess" my meaning? If it is about Noel, as many people think...
God knows. It could be one of about 4 or 5. Look forward to finding this out, nothing worse than singing along with the wrong words.

Listen again. 1st and 3rd time it's "will you guess" and the 2nd it's "really gets".

Listen to it trying to hear "gets my meaning"....bet you hear it "Really gets my meaning" makes very little sense compared to "will you guess my meaning" - especially considering that we have no idea of the 4 letter word so all we can (and are doing) do is guess! That being said, of course one line making more sense doesn't make it automatically correct. |
