I love it Its better than his other rockers he has written for Oasis (except maybe Pass Me Down The Wine, which I really dig) and I love the growling riff all the way through and Liam's vocals are awesome, really menacing and sneering

They have changed the lyrics also from the version we heard last year for the people that didn't really check.

Are we sure they changed the lyrics, as we never had the full song in the first place?

I really like it, sounds better than AGN and I'm hoping it won't be 2 mins long but maybe have an extra part that sounds completely different and might surprise a few.

It's probably been re-recorded to avoid any Noel-ism ;-) I haven't compared the clips, but the "new" one seems cleaner and the tempo may be slightly slower.

I have always liked it. It has defo been re-recorded from the Pretty Green launch but the lyrics might always have been the same as the version we got was always a fan edited version from the video.
I hope this is included in the live set, a stomper of a tune!

Well Liam said the first was a demo that had been tidied up so maybe then just did a proper version in the album sessions.
I think this has gotta be played live because they are low on numbers in terms of songs but it'll be sounding cool live.

It's funny, I didn't really dig it until now, but when I heard it with the other BDI previews, I started liking it. It's actually a rather catchy tune.

I like the new version, i do like the original but i think that was partly due to hearing some new Oasis material out of the blue so it automatically went high up on my favourite list that month.
Its not the greatest but far better than other short songs like meaning of soul/aint got nothing. Lyrics arent the best but it sounds alright

It's catchy. I was thinking of it all day at work yesterday and the lyrics aren't great but it has a good attitude in the music

How do we know its been re-recorded? any links? Sorry I'm confused by this. Which version have you heard? This is the fan edit from the Pretty Green launch video. Credit to original maker. This video is MEGA BTW! ;-) - A different version has surfaced on the itunes leak as an extra track, which has a different structure & has been re-recorded.

I'm a big fan of Meaning of Soul, the lyrics are not amazing but its a rocker like Oasis had never done before and it sounded great live too.

The re-recorded version sounds great! I think they gonna play it live. They are in need of songs.

I don't think thats the original tbf, its a pretty traditional blues sounding riff. I reckon you'd have to much futher back.
