the roller has a total instant karma vibe to it, the track for anyone reminds me kind of like glass onion. i think from these clips its gonna be a proper debut. not sure how these tracks will transform live but liam sounds really good

I am encouraged. This could be a great album! Worthy of mention in it's own right even if it weren't a LG release!
So far I am loving The Roller, For Anyone. They are the 2 obvious highlights of the album for me. Hope they are both singles (I know that Roller is already marked for it...but For Anyone would be an great too, I think) Also liking Kill For a Dream, Millionaire, The Beat Goes On, Wind-up Dream, TRC. I like more than I don't, for certain! Looks like it might be a safe buy for me after all!
For the Roller I was a bit underwhelmed in the first 20 seconds....but those eight beats with just the drum and piano and then Liam coming in with "so you've been crawling through a maze" is just genius...gave me chills. Orgasmic. When I listened to the clips the first way through front to back it was the first moment that I really felt..."I love that!"
For Anyone - It's been forever since I've heard Liam sound so sweet! I think it was NL4E that I saw write that Liam was truly singing on this record...that was my thought as well. I like the occasional sneering vocal...but Liam has such a beautiful voice and it's such a waste when he does nothing but sneer.
Kill for a Dream - My favorite lyric so far is in it. "It's a beautiful world when you know who you are." Absolutely wonderful. Tunes pretty as well.
Millionaire - I just like it. Good melody with nice backing. Like the backing vocal as well.
Four Letter Word - Not that impressed with Liam's vocals on this one compared to the rest. Sounds a bit nasally to me. Other than that it's decent. Wouldn't be the first one I'd think of as a debut single though
SOTEOTN - I think I'm with everyone else on this one. It's just not stiking a chord with me. One of the things that stuck me most was the weird vocal treatment....like Liam's larynx has been replaced with a fricking kazoo @ the beginning particularly! LOL
Beatles and Stones - Passable. Reserving judgement until the rest of the song comes out. Not horrible...but nothing special. Filler.
Wigwam - I don't think it's the best song Liam has ever written...I don't hear anything extraordinary about it now. For some reason I am not feeling it as much as most of you...it seems to be @ the top of alot of peoples lists.
Three Ring Circus - Reminds me of another song...can't think what song that is though. It's got some attitude though...I like that.
The Beat Goes On - Very Beatlesy...and very Liam to mention that a song is being sung...LOL. Good though.
Morning Son - Beautiful vocal by Liam. Pretty song if not especially striking
Wind Up Dream - Didn't like it @ first listen but it is rapidly growing on me.
I love most that they have left room between the instruments...if you know what I mean. It's not a "wall-of-sound" record. Not a guitar in every empty space. Some good baselines with room to play around.
It a promising start though. Hope that they were good with the editing though. I think that BTL would have been infinitely better 45 seconds shorter for me...hope that isn't a common problem. They seem to have got some good base material from my point of view and production is sounding good, from my limited POV, so far except on SOTEOTN.

8. Kill For A Dream (kinda gives me a Knickleback vibe) oh hellz to the nAo !!! don't you ever compare anything Liam does to that piece of garbage excuse for a "rock band". ok well... maybe Bring the Light lmao seriously, i hate Nickelback with a passion. I hate them too, but i instantly got a Nickleback or Creed type vibe with this song

What an amazing start to the day!! All these clips sounds really amazing I think I'll post some more detailed thoughts of the songs later, as I'm off from work soon! But some of these songs are really magical!! I will post this though: The Roller sounds like an amazing song. Wonder why Oasis never did anything with it, as if judging by the clip is anything to go by, it really has potential to be a great single.

Wow, like what I'm hearing! Some songs really are sounding very Beatlesesque, I like it, hope they don't get slated for that.
Can't wait to hear the full album, because a 30 second preview says alot, but the songs could still get a lot better/worse in their full length..

Four Letter Word, The Roller, SOTEOTN, Wigwam, The Beat Goes On, and The Morning Son are all great tunes for me. Millionaire, Kill For A Dream, Three Ring Circus would have to be in a complete form for me to see if they're good or not. For Anyone is good but I'm a bit worried that For Anyone and Kill For A Dream is listed together, because they sound similar. Beatles And Stones and Bring The Light sound like TMOS, AGN, or MOM in a better produced form.

The only song I don't love already is Beatles and Stones. It sounds like a forgotten DBTT-era song, like TMOS; it's not bad, but the rest is far better imho. Four Letter Word is my favorite, but For Anyone surprised me the most. I didn't expect this from Liam. Anyway, great stuff altogether, can't wait for the release.

Only the Roller is a blatant rip off, which is a bit of a shame

Some songs remind me of the better songs of Fountains of Wayne. Which isn't bad, because I used to like them. Now we know for sure it's going to be decent at least, possible even quite amazing, I like Btw, I really love SOTEOTN, it's going to be absolutely amazing live!!! I can hear myself shouting it already!! "For anyone" really got me, it's brilliant!

so far what i'm reading is that everyone has their own personal favourite(s), which reminds me of dbtt's leak/release, and THAT can only be a good thing

I live in canada and I hear No Nickleback in any of these songs. And they play that crappy band on the radio every day.

hmm I'm kinda disappointed with The Roller.I get irritated with the bit where Liam sings "ohh ohh". : (
The songs that I think have potential are
Four letter word Standing On The Edge Of The Noise-I don't mind the effect on Liam's voice Wigwam Kill For A Dream-I like the way Liam sings this one
Beatles and Stones wasn't as bad as i expected. Not bad filler song
The rest are alright.I think they will sink in after I get to hear the whole thing.
