WE ARE ANXIOUSLY WAITING THE OPINION OF SOULDIGGER. PLEASE GRACE US WITH YOUR HUMBLE OPINION. Yes, oh Great One. Please honour us by letting us know your your divine opinion on these songs for I cannot decide whether I like them or not until you have decided. Just so you know the first 95% of my seat is useless as I'm sitting right on the edge (of noise) Much love x

Whoever posted the clips on youtube (It's on another page I apologise for not looking) I just want to give my sincere thanks to. Having everyone talk about the songs when they're on Itunes and not be able to hear them myself was torture - To the person that uploaded them on youtube I just want to give a big thank you from a Beady Eye fan in Glasgow.
Much respect to you my man.

Read through the comments here, and I'd have to agree: This is sounding mega. Of course we can't judge the entire album yet, but if the full songs stand up to the clips, this has the potential to be up there for album of 2011.
I didn't think the lads could do it without Noel. I've been pleasantly surprised - so far.
The only song I don't really care for atm is SOTEOTN - it reminds me too much of PYMWYMI.
Wigwam does sound amazing, and I'm craving to hear the part right after the sha la las....

People looking for a youtube link (gdforever & SOULDIGGER) - I don't want to post it as there could be rules but just search 'Beady Eye' and order the results by upload date... I'll give you a clue.. It's been uploaded very recently

I just heard it A LOT of times lol. I know they're clips, but they're clips with vocalc. Unlike most clips, these sound much much much more closer to what the actual album version will be. Therefore, me personally I feel that I can judge these a lot better than if they were regular teasers without vocals, like we've been getting.
To me of the 13, 9 I could care less about. Those 9 are decent at best and will probably develop into okay tracks, thats just my opinion. There are 4 tracks though, that sound extremely promising, which on first listen and on more listens sounded amazing. Those tracks are the Beat Goes On, The Roller, Four Letter Word, and Wigwam. I'm not feeling Kill For A Dream like most are, nor SOTEOTN (thats okay to me, but sounds pretty lame). There are a lot of "Beatle-ish" moments for me. lol
A lot of it sounds like late Lennon and early Beatles. But yeah, only 4 caught my ear, the rest were just noise and only sounded like they could be okay tracks at best. I think in the end, the album ends up with 4 Great tracks, maybe 2 or 3 good ones, and the rest are decent. That would be an extremely strong effort and I would be content with that. Especially, if the 4 that I mentioned are as good as I think they are. I can def. see why the Roller is a single and it should be a BIg hit for them.

I really like:
Millionaire, For Anyone, Kill for a Dream, Wigwam, The Beat Goes On (5)
I think these are good/ok/have potential (2):
The Roller, Four Letter Word
Don't Really Like (Read: True Filler) (6):
Beatles and Stones, Wind Up Dream, Bring the Light (average own it's on, in context of the album clips, it goes down to filler imo), Three Ring Circus, Morning Sun (5)
Really Hate:
Standing On The Edge of Noise (1)
Very good: 5 Good/Potentially very good: 2 Filler: 6 Awful: 1
That's not a bad break down by any means, to be fair. Will be interesting to see how my (and ours) opinion changes once we hear the full songs

Looks like we won't have the DOYS problem of the album tailing off... Wigwam, Three Ring Circus, The Beat Goes On and The Morning Son are 4 of the best clips! As is the Roller. But this is quality so far.

I didn't miss the irony, I was being sarcastic. Anyway, just heard it. Like it a lot. Its very raw and heavy. "Standing on the edge of the noise is a complete "Get Back" rip off. This album is heavily influenced by "beatles, stones, birds, "the Morning Son" is sticking on me. I like the roller, FLW is better than the clip but Not amazing. Some catchy tunes. I'm pleasantly surprised that its not filled with "aint got nothings" and "meaning of souls". These songs have some depth and substance judging by the clips. Cheers

What I don't get is how awful SOTEOTN sounds. It really is PYMWYMI II (based off of the 30 second clips), and the oddest thing is is that it doesn't blend in at all with any of the other songs. It's a hard rocker amongst mellow melodic songs.
Also, Three Ring Circus has a TNOR vibe - albeit MUCH better than that shit track - wonder if this one is Andy's?

Does Beatles and Stones remind anyone of Eyeball Tickler?

Why do people hate SOTEOTN so much? I think it's great. Nice rocker tune with a catchy chorus. I see no reason why it should be compared with probably the worst Oasis song that repeats the same thing over and over again without a proper chorus.

I can't believe it's Liam on some of these tracks! I'm so used to him sneering (not a bad thing, mind). But listen to For Anyone (and Kill for a Dream)!!! Jesus, that's proper singing. I am truly amazed by some of these clips. Liam is sounding incredible.
