First of all, sorry for my poor English skills! the interview recorded on Nov 12. On album: Completed already. They have to only record 3 or 4 tracks to record for B-side. They plan to release one or two singles before the album release. The album will contain 13 tracks. 5 by Liam, 4 by Andy, and 4 by Gem. BTL is a slightly unusual track on the album. Chris said the album has a wide range of music. there are a few guitar-rock tunes, a few psychedelic tunes, and a few mid-tempo ballads like Champagne Supernova, kind of sing-along. sorry to be continued... Thanks so much for that! ;D I say those are great news. 13 tracks is quite a bit, nice, and I like that the album's tracks are varied in style. And guitar-rock, psychedelic and mid-tempo ballads all sound perfect!  |

To be honest, I did expect the album to be pulling 3 or 4 genres together and I cant wait to hear some tracks.
Only worry I have is that they need to make sure the album gels well together.

But BTL is co-written, isn't it? You are saying that there are no co-written songs on the album.. My guess is Liam wrote lyrics and melody, Gem and Andy helped arrange the music. Saying Gem, Liam or Andy wrote any given song is just saying who came with the spine of the song and then they worked together arranging them and composing the music I reckon. |
