I'm not impressed by what I've heard so far, frankly I'm not surprised either. Having said that, I feel that BDI's album will have at least 2 great tunes, and I expect noels album to be great. So I ask you all, isn't something better than nothing? Noel and liam could've shut it down for a few years and we would have nothing to talk about. For this I'm thankful. Even if BDI's album is a 2 outta 5, a can assure you the couple tunes that are great will be worth it imo. Cheers Souldigger.

Agreeing with this clown doesn't seem like the thing to do here, but...
I'd rather Liam was making music than overpriced clothes. I'd prefer it to be with Oasis but it isn't. Bring the Light certainly isn't The Shock of the Lightning but it beats 90% of the other music out there that doesn't have Liam Gallagher's voice on it.

I kinda agree. Like Gem said in the Q interview - they wanted to get on it straight away because THEY were on it. I always hated the fact that Oasis were gradually releasing albums slower and slower. It went from 1 years gap (DM -MG) to 2 year gap (MG - BHN) to 3 year gap (HC - DBTT) and then Noel was talking about taking a break for 5 years?  ? Good to get something now |

So you cant 'feel' the album will have 2 great tunes and Noels will be great. How can you 'assure' us that a couple of tunes will be great ? You got lucky with that info about Bring the light but now youre taking the mick ! Have you heard the album ? Is that how you can 'assure' us ? None of us know for sure. Keep hearing 'the BDI albums going to be crap...' yet none of us have heard it. What happened to a bit a patience?? Let the OTT slagging start once the albums out ! |
