Is it only me ? Until what we have heard now, Liams voice is fitting better to the BE tunes.. He is not really that much on the limit (which made him sound like Kermit the frog sometimes), is not that much of snearing anymore (sunshiiiiinnnneeeaah)... He is back on the level of SOTSOG i think, or at least close to it. More soul in his voice, more power, less out of breath. I know he sounds better on albums anyway, but .. well let's say, until now i'm satisfied of what i have heard of his voice... why he hasn't even had that much or rest with is voice between the Oasis tour and the recording of the BE album...
Well we will never get the liam voice of DM MG BHN i guess, he is just older and all, but I think his voice is developing better and better since HC ... i can't wait to judge the rest of the BE songs and his voice ... is it only me who heard this ? His voice just fits better to the BE songs now ...

Liam's voice went through a stage where it was terrible. But i thought the last dig out your soul tour he was excellent, saw them 3 times on that tour, the last one at Wembley his voice was superb. Think not smoking, exercise etc has helped a ton.

hmmm must be the production end of it, because i don't think he sounds that good on 'bring the light' (too gravely), but on 'sons of the stage' i think he sounds incredible

I would say its more production if on one song hes not sounding great and on the other recently recorded one hes sounding better.

His vocal range on the DOYS tour was rubbish, better than his voice in 2006 but a lot worse than 2005. Especially Live Forever was horrible! If he doesn't have to strain his voice he still sounds pretty good (eg. on the albums and the acoustic wonderwall on the DOYS tour). I hope he has finally stopped smoking, so he can at least hold on to the notes a bit longer

not sure Liam has quit smoking, this was in the sun last week with Tom Meighan. www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/showbiz/bizarre/3235786/Kasabian-Tom-Liam-do-drag-act.htmlAs for his voice, I recon it will suit BDI songs better as they can arrange songs in the keys that suit him best and he won't have to shout notes out of his range like some of the old Oasis songs. Anything the write that would normally b in B should be in A# as Liams voice can't really handle B anymore, Lyla is a song I am reffering to here as he really struggled on the verse especially.

A bit kermit when he sings "blows my eyes" in Sons of the stage?
Other than that it is DOYS-album quality, wich is good enough.

But he's not had too many notes to hold, there are very few sustained words on both songs. If you listen to something like live forever, Liam couldn't do a song anywhere near that these days

I know it's terrible...but I'm kind of glad I won't have to hear him sing C&A again. That song makes Liam sound much worse than he really is, and that's not saying he's brilliant live always.
