Is that supposed to be Steve White like Alan White brother? Even Tony doesn't say that most of the songs were written by the Real People. If that is him and this exchange is true he's a bit of a douche. you should clarify who made the real people comment it wasn't steve.

I have just lost a lot of respect for Steve White, he was Weller's drummer for so long and always seemed like a decent guy. Obviously not. Anyway, the new drummer, Steve Pilgrim, is just as good and can sing and play guitar too, i was at this gig ;D so, in colnclusion Steve Pilgrim = great. Steve White = wanker

id be interested to see a discography of discs steve white and damon mincella have played on, i doubt theres so much as a forward thinking note of music on any of them
secondly generally bad form to come out and criticize so publically......OCS sold a lot of reocrds of oasis' back in the mid 90's.......not saying they werent an excellent band, they were. but they rode a wave oasis generated
and steve white......ok, he's bitter his brother got sacked, but before that he'd played with noel and liam on massive albums, huge world tours and made plenty of money. he was a good drummer, not a drumming god though and again was lucky to have been a part of something amazing. im sure in time alan and steve will relise that
also, steve as we all know played on the brotherly love tour. im sure that was more of a favour to alan but still seems a bit snide coming out criticising when he was happy to take the pay cheques
also daft comments about the real people writing all the early oasis records. good luck to them if they did, but that was only half the job.......liams voice, the oasis attitude and image was probably 90% of the oasis appeal. this fact is bourne out by the fact that although the real people again benefittted from oasis connections they still havent manage to litter the charts with hits since they collaborated.

No wonder Weller binned those 2 pricks! I've always thought Steve White was a good drummer but he's always came across as a bit of a bell end. I've never been a fan of Damon Minchella. Must be bitter after at one point playing with both Weller and OCS to go to playing jazz with Steve White which I think is really code for doing fuck all.

At the end of the day, You wont really see Lee Mavers comparing BDI to Screaming Lord Sutch on Johnny Marrs facebook wall now would ya?
These are 2 decent studio musicians who had their luck about a decade and a half ago, and are just jealous of the fact that Liam could carry on making crap on the back of his old career, while their old careers are meaningless....

Wankers the pair of them! I left a couple of we comments for him!
Utter balls. Wee chip on the shoulder since your brother got the boot! If I remember correctly you were more than happy to play for the band when Alan was injured. Long Live the genius that is Noel Gallagher! Live Forever! And also Real People wrote all the early songs?! Absolute balls, if that's the case then why did not write anythin' else that was classics! 15 hours ago · LikeUnlike · 1 person Loading...

jesus, people-- take it easy on the guy. steve white is entitled to his opinions, even though you may disagree with them.
i don't think he's jealous at all, but he's standing up for his brother. that, to me, is the right thing for him to do. i know it may be a bit of a foreign concept to noel and liam, but i expect family to stand up for each other. while the situation over alan's sacking is still pretty cloudy, i believe steve when he says noel and liam didn't do it the right way.

His opinion isn't the problem ( I agree with him mostly) but what he's done is more pathetic than anything else. It's not like he was asked his opinion in an interview or something.

What kind of"professional" sits around bashing people he actually knows? Whatever his opinion, you don't as a some what ligament drummer chat about it on Facebook like a 14 year old girl. You do it through the proper channels...NME anyways feels like Steve really needs a proper job...

Noel made Alan what he is: rich and a bit famous. Just for that, they should be thankful and shut their stupid mouth.
