Am I right in thinking that they have changed the bassline, drum track and the lead guitar parts.
And added the riff that they wrote and also some lyrics?
I've listened to both and I'm sure this is the case, can anyone confirm this?

kinda what I thought
Dont listen closely enough to notice the bass, but definitely that Guitar breakdown that we first heard on the website

I think the bassline was a big teller and the drums too, the little fills that appear in the intro and middle of the song stand out.

is this supposed to be an astute observation?

is this supposed to be an astute observation? I think it's a good point How many times do you get bands covering songs and they don't add their own touch? My opinion is that - if Beady Eye have this kind of affect on a "cover" then their own songs should sound collosal

is this supposed to be an astute observation? No not at all, I'm pretty sure they have changed or added parts but somebody with a better musical ear may have been able to tell me otherwise. So far it seems as though I was correct. What I was going to point out that it sort of reassures my belief that instrumentally Beady Eye will have no problems, the only doubts for the album would be if their lyrics can do a job.

The 20 second clip just sounds shoehorned into the song to me, but that's probably because I've heard it in isolation so many times so it sounds weird hearing it in the middle of a song
