In a note sent to the organisers of the Save The 100 Club, Gallagher wrote: "It's a real shame. Fancied playing there again with the mighty Beady Eye." He said the club "sorts the men from the boys" and described it as "very rock n roll". The brief hand-written note came after Frank Black, of the recently reformed Pixies, pledged £100,000 to keep the club open. tinyurl.com/22muyu6
