I own all of their albums with the exception of the most recent, and I enjoy the music. Sure, about 60% of each album is less-then-phenomonal music, but it's listenable and flows well together. I can listen to an entire Weezer album with ease.
I love Weezer. They make a good chill album. Something to have playing while you're doing other things, if you know what i mean? Wish Oasis would have jumped on that tour with them though. That would have been epic.
As for their greatest hits, I didn't realize they had one, and don't know whats on it. But the first 3 albums are stellar. Post those three, the albums are varied quite a bit, kinda like another band we all love so much.
In my opinion, take a listen to a whole album, not just the hits. They have hidden gems like Oasis always did. Cheers!

I have all their albums - bar the monstrosity that was Beverly Hills.
Good, fun, light hearted band. The Blue Album is their best though. Was actually listening to the Green Album today while going to work for the first time in ages, really brought me back to 2001.
Kitjenson's rankings are spot on - but there are several good tunes on the rest of the albums, too.

you gotta get Maladroit. Its perfect 2-3 min pop songs. It's my tied for my second favorite album (Pinkerton being the first blue being the other second). Burndt Jamb is probably my favorite weezer song. they are a great band for what they are. they don't take themselves too seriously so nor should the listener (this is most of the time).

New self-titled album(white) to be released on April's Fools day. New single called King of The world. I like it more than Thank god for girls but it's not quite on the level of Do You want to get high?

New song is sounding good. As long as they continue to gravitate back towards the sound of Pinkerton they'll be on form again.

I just can't anymore. The first three songs released are unlistenable and forgettable IMO. Pinkerton and Blue are two of my favorite albums ever but I have no interest in new music from them anymore.

I understand exactly how you feel. They completely fell off after Pinkerton and I think the Green Album is just overrated pop. DYWGH is the most Pinkerton-sounding tune they've released in years, but if it was on Pinkerton it would be my least favorite track. Thank God for Girls is forgettable and this new one is decent.
