Stop being so reductive! This is exactly what I am talking about! people need to stop sticking people in boxes like "they don't like BDI because they are TEAM NOEL" or "they don't like BDI because they don't sound like Oasis."

None of us listen to nothing but Oasis (I hope). So I don't know what you are on about? It's not like we don't listen to non-Oasis music...so why would we hate it just because it doesn't sound exactly like Oasis.

The things I don't like about BTL are not because they don't sound like Oasis.

1. I don't particularly think that the piano riff is very special not because I dislike the use of piano...it just seems fairly generically retro...

2. I think the lyrics are atrocious...

3. I think the guitar solo isn't that great...(which is sad since they are a guitar band @ the end of the day and that is the only obvious bit of guitar included)

4. The song goes on about 45 second longer than I find it interesting for.

Bad lyrics, generic retro riff, lack-luster guitar solo, and could use some editing because it rambles towards the end...sounds like some popular criticisms of Oasis doesn't it?

Actually it seems that alot of my least favorite things in the song have been happening in Oasis for years. Maybe I don't like it because it's too much like Oasis in that respect...unfortunately their weakness are as apparent, if not more so, in this song as they ever were in Oasis.

People can yell about the fact that Oasis shared a lot of these flaws...but the fact is that we ALL call Oasis on generic riffs, bad lyrics, over-long tunes, and crap solos. It wasn't alright with me when they did it...it's not alright with me when BDI does it.
