Nothing Led Zeppelin did can hold a candle to Quadrophenia or Who's Next.

Always though of Led Zeppelin as being a bit pretentious and all. Plus, I think Robert Plant is a complete and utter arsehole.

I wonder how different the results would be if Noel and Liam were bigger Zeppelin fans than Who fans.
Asked the same question on a guitar forum and the results so far are
Zeppelin 42 The Who 9

When the fuck are you going to realise this isn't about guitars and isn't about Noel or Liam its about who you prefer ffs.
The songs maybe might be involved somewhere.

I don't know if you've noticed but Noel and Liam's taste seem to have a very strong influence over the opinions of many people on this forum.

I am sure indirectly what the Gallaghers like do effect us...but not in the way that you are implying. Way I figure it, We are all brought together by one thing...our love of Oasis music. So it isn't surprising that we would be more likely the like the band that speaks more to the musical tastes of the Gallaghers...since the thing that we all like is the music of Oasis which is very much a result of the kind of music that they like. Everyone likes different things in music. We are a group with a specific type musical taste. We do not represent the population as a whole...and it the same with all band-based forums. It's not like the Gallaghers are negative towards Zepplin ever.

The same for me. I absolutely grew up on the Who. I didn't really get into Oasis until much later. I remember my dad telling me not to sing Dr. Jimmy in public as a little kid because it mentions rape. Of course, I had no idea what rape was at the time, and my dad wouldn't define it for me.

Asked the same question on a guitar forum and the results so far are Zeppelin 42 The Who 9 Oasis write anthems, and The Who are more similar to Oasis musically than Led Zeppelin. I don't think people prefer The Who simply because the Gallaghers prefer them - it would seem a bit sad anyway. It's simply down to taste.

That was a fucking hard one.
Some people mentioned Quadrophenia and Who's Next, but Led Zeppelin II and IV are up there it those albums.
Nobody can say what band is better. For example, my fav band is/was Oasis but I'm very sure that they aren't/weren't the "best"

It's hard to say. Both are great, and I personally enjoy Led Zeppelin a bit more. You can't just say that one band is better than the other.
